Nails of the Week: Sally Hansen French Mani

This week I decided to do a French Manicure using the [amazon_link id=”B004FQ6BJO” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Sally Hansen Hard As Nails French Manicure Kit[/amazon_link] (which comes with a white tip color, sheer pink color, top coat, and nail stickers). I’ve had this kit for awhile, so I did have some trouble applying the pink polish because the formula had gotten a bit thick and clumpy, but I think it still turned out well 🙂 I used [amazon_link id=”B00150LT40″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Seche Vite [/amazon_link] as the top coat instead of the top coat that came with the set.

Pain Pain Go Away

…but don’t come again another day. So on Tuesday I got off the bus coming back from work and went into my apartment. Immediately my shoulder blade/upper back area on my left side started to hurt. I’ve had this area hurt before (I’m sure many of us have), but its usually after I pulled something or slept on it wrong, not just out of nowhere! I mean I could have pulled it or something and not realized it I suppose. I kind of ignored it because it wasn’t that bad, and usually stuff like that passes after I sleep on it. Beautypedia and Skincare Routine

Hello all. Not a review today, but I wanted to talk about this website I stumbled upon called Beautypedia. I’m sure at least some of you have heard of it before or have heard of its creator, Paula Begoun (the “Cosmetics Cop”). Here is some background on her, if you are interested. Basically, the website is a very large directory of reviews on makeup, skincare, haircare, and body products (with more emphasis on skincare it seems) that are done by Paula and her team. The reviews are based mostly around the product’s ingredients and formula. She stresses which ingredients in the product are beneficial for your skin, but more importantly, which ingredients can cause irritation or are unnecessary. She also …
