APR: The Oracle Year by Charles Soule The Oracle Year is a Sci-Fi book that reminds me a little bit of Dark Matter. It follows Will Dando, a musician who suddenly receives hundreds of predictions from the future in a dream. With the help of his friend, he sets up a website (known as “the Site”) and lists some of these predictions, all of which come true. The site goes viral and ends up influencing a number of world events and international politics. The book has quite a few characters and narrators (Will and his friends, the president of the United States, a preacher, a journalist…). Book of the Month Reviews: Winter 2018

Okay guys, I think I can actually handle these quarterly mini-reviews! Definitely more doable than monthly ones 🙂 Here are the three books I received for the first quarter of this year from Book of the Month! JAN: As Bright as Heaven by Susan Meissner This isn’t usually the genre of book I’d normally get (which would be chick thrillers I guess) but this was set in Philadelphia so I was intrigued! It also had really great reviews. The cover of the book is of the Logan Square fountain which is pretty cool. The story is set in the early 20th century (1918) and follows a family of 3 sisters and their parents as they move from Quakertown to Philadelphia …

FabFitFun Box Winter 2017

My last FabFitFun! This box wasn’t bad, but definitely confirms that its not something I make total use of. I usually use about 3 of the products in these boxes regularly, while the rest just kind of sit around my apartment. I will say that all of the products are always excellent quality though and I do usually love them! Here’s what I got… BB Dakota Poncho in black: This is really cute in theory, but its so huge when I put it on (I believe it only comes in one size). I look kind of ridiculous in it…like I’m just wrapped in a big blanket haha. Its definitely cozy though, but just not sure how much use I’ll get …
